Transgender individuals may or may not choose to undergo medical interventions to transition. Overall, transsexual is a more specific term related to medical interventions, while transgender is a more umbrella term that encompasses a wider range of gender identities. **

Transgender is an umbrella term that describes individuals whose gender identity does not align with the sex they were assigned at birth. This can include individuals who identify as a different gender than the one they were assigned at birth, as well as non-binary or genderqueer individuals. Transsexual, on the other hand, is an older term that was used to describe individuals who have physically transitioned or are in the process of transitioning to align their bodies with their gender identity. While some individuals may still use the term transsexual, it is less commonly used today as it is considered outdated and potentially stigmatizing. **

Yes, there is a difference between transgender and transsexual. Transgender is an umbrella term that refers to individuals whose gender identity does not align with the sex they were assigned at birth. This can include a wide range of gender identities, such as non-binary, genderqueer, and genderfluid. Transsexual, on the other hand, is a more specific term that is often used to describe individuals who have undergone medical interventions, such as hormone therapy or surgery, to align their physical body with their gender identity. It's important to note that not all transgender individuals identify as transsexual, and the terms should be used respectfully and in accordance with an individual's self-identification. **

While being underweight can sometimes be visible, it is not always obvious. Some individuals may appear thin but still be underweight, while others may not show visible signs of being underweight. Additionally, body composition and distribution of weight can vary greatly among individuals, making it difficult to determine someone's weight status based solely on appearance. It's important to consider other factors such as overall health, diet, and lifestyle when assessing whether someone is underweight. **
