Transsexual, on the other hand, is an older term that was used to describe individuals who have physically transitioned or are in the process of transitioning to align their bodies with their gender identity. While some individuals may still use the term transsexual, it is less commonly used today as it is considered outdated and potentially stigmatizing. **

Yes, there is a difference between transgender and transsexual. Transgender is an umbrella term that refers to individuals whose gender identity does not align with the sex they were assigned at birth. This can include a wide range of gender identities, such as non-binary, genderqueer, and genderfluid. Transsexual, on the other hand, is a more specific term that is often used to describe individuals who have undergone medical interventions, such as hormone therapy or surgery, to align their physical body with their gender identity. It's important to note that not all transgender individuals identify as transsexual, and the terms should be used respectfully and in accordance with an individual's self-identification. **
